One of the websites I normally visit is Abu Mahjoob, it is based on a famous character in Jordan (a country in the middle east, located to the west of Iraq) who creates cartoons and posted them in the daily news paper, to comment and Criticize the government and the situation in the country addressing some concerns; giving a reason to smile and in some cases a wakeup call.
As that have been said, you should have a general idea about what is this website about, other than the cartoons and the animations involving the circumstances in Jordan, it has surely been expanded now to animate and criticize other countries, spread awareness among people and to address some political concerns. It provides a way to discuss different issues in health and science, politics, religion and other aspects, selling some of Abu Mahjoob products, like shirts and mugs and a lot more. So it is not just about entertainment.
What makes this website stands out that it provides the audience with an option of making English or Arabic as the main language of the site; I know it is not necessary or critical for every website but by providing this option it will expand to attract more audience with different perspectives; that is something we can not accomplish in the paper based writing.
un like the other websites we normally encounter, the search engine is actually in the middle of the home page rather than the top.
the focal point in this website is the picture in the center of the screen, althougt it is not colored, it captures your attention because it is relatively bigger than its surroundings, the distinctive color all around the screen that makes the homepage unique, not to forget about the moving slides in the top right part .
As a convention we have tabs providing divisions, in Abu Mahjoob Creative Productions you will find tabs like Home, Archives, Forums, E-cards, Contact us, Blogs and more located in the top of the homepage as well as more tabs in the bottom of the page, leading the reader to another pages with different information.
All of these sources adhere creating a website that proves that the picture sometimes speaks a thousand words.
